Who is a good candidate?
- Healthy, stable weight
- You are bothered by the shape and volume of your breasts that have become flatter or elongated,
the size of your areolas, and/or the position of your nipples.
- Realistic expectations and goals
How to Prepare for Surgery
- You will need to do bloodwork and have an updated mammogram if you are 40+ years old or have a
significant personal or family history of breast disease
- Stop smoking for 4-6 weeks
- Avoid herbal supplements for 2 weeks
- Avoid aspirin and anti-inflammatories for 1 week
- Ask whether you need to hold certain medications before surgery

- Anchor (around the nipple, vertical incision along the bottom pole, or under the breast crease)

- To help reduce swelling and support your breasts while heal, a dry dressing and compression
garment and/or surgical bra will be used
