Who is a good candidate?
- Healthy, stable weight with excess fat and skin in the abdomen
- Ideally, individuals who are not pregnant, breastfeeding, and have finished
having children
- Individuals who are unhappy with the shape and volume of their breasts and
the contour of their abdomen after pregnancy, weight loss, or through
natural aging
- Individuals who would like to have facial rejuvenation around their eyelids,
midface, and/or neck
- Realistic expectations and goals
How to Prepare for Surgery
- You will need to do bloodwork and additional investigations
- Stop smoking for 6 weeks
- Avoid herbal supplements for 2 weeks
- Avoid aspirin and anti-inflammatories for 1 week
- Ask whether you need to hold certain medications before surgery

Wound care
- Compression garments and/or small drains will be placed, depending on the
areas treated, to minimize swelling and bruising. We will give you specific
instructions on how long you will need this after surgery and when the
drains will be removed if they are used.
